Whist - computer game

Whist goes open-source!

On 8 February 2006 Ercartoons Software proclaimed Whist computer game as open source. From now on you'll have a chance to download Whist source files for every new release. Moreover, if you feel you've got an idea to make them better, just contact me at

Whist computer game has been in creation by Ercartoons Software (my unofficial company consisting of Erestor and occasionally Silencer) since 1997. It has evolved from a Pascal text-based game to a C++ multithreaded DOS beauty based on Ercartoons' SVGA GUI and finally into an MFC creature, though still based on the same game core. The only thing that differs is the way things are displayed. In fact the core is written so that its possible to compile the old DOS version still.
Anyway, download and enjoy Whist! The downloads are sorted from newest to oldest. For historical reasons, the DOS version number differs from the Windows version number, but the whists within one section are perfectly the same.
